Verana sits on the edge of a jungle that serves as the home to a variety of birds, many of which are unique to the area. Our Verana guide leads a tour and identifies local birds as you walk through the jungle observing and listening to birds in their natural habitat. Binoculars provided.

RIO “EL TUITO” BIRD WALK
A more extensive birdwatching trek takes you along the River 'El Tuito' into the Sierra Occidental to arrive at Cathedral Falls, where you can enjoy birding, swimming and a picnic lunch. Hiking along and across the river, exotic birds can be viewed as they go about their active daily routine. With our binocularsyou can take a closer look at the detail of their beautiful plumage.
